Through movement and improvisation exercises, educators and students created short theater pieces based on their own experiences in school—a revealing collage of schoolyard mishaps, adventures, surprises, and heartbreaks. Come enjoy this poignant, funny collection of stories, dramatized by this multi-generational group of first time storytellers.
NO STORY LEFT BEHIND WORKSHOP
Inspired by the creative storytelling elements of the No Child... script, Theatre LILA has further collaborated with the Madison Metropolitan School District, Verona Area High School, The Madison Music Makers, and Overture Center for the Arts, to hold a series of storytelling workshops for Madison teachers and high school students. Tony award-winning actress Karen Olivo will join Lanius to conduct these workshops, which are open to interested participants at no cost.
